What a tragedy that this nice airline is in deep trouble at the moment...Even Christoph Mueller one of the directors of Sabena admitted there is probably no future for Sabena. On the other hand I think this news could be spread to make the negotiations with the unions a bit easier..... Anybody who has an opinion about this??

Well,
The financial Times -
As SN is in deep financial crisis (fuel prices, etc...) they won't open new lines and will have to reduce their loancosts. This means that they might have to cut in the jobs. Mr Mueller (new boss) added to it that if the company would continue this way, he'd have to close it down. The next day though, we heared here in the press that this statement wasn't meant so drastically.
They nearly changed their entire fleet (Boeing to Airbus) and this cost more than foreseen.
Hopefully will our national airline keep its head above water...
