At 15:22GMT, 25 October 2000, a Russian military Ilyushin IL-18 turboprop
aircraft crashed into high terrain while on a flight to Batumi, Georgia.
Aboard the aircraft was a crew of 11, and 64 passengers, presumed to be
servicemen and their families.
There is no word at this time on the condition of the aircraft, or those
aboard.
