Hey guys just to let you know its a real pic happened quite a few years ago cant remember the exact details remember there was a bit of rumbling in the press about it ! Maybe someone from KLM could shed some light on it if they remember the details !

As far as I remember, they got fired because of this, at least the F/A´s were, I´m not sure about the pilot.

The way I remember it: <font color="666666"> he didn't get fired.
Reprimanded though, cost him some pay.
Photo was taken in Guatemala from the top of the terminal building by a Belgian journalist who thought it was cool.
Obviously it generated a lot of free publicity for the company.
front page, half page, color photo in the newspapers.
(but I could be wrong)

No one was fired, they were sent back home and a two week suspension. KLM wanted to punish them harder, but it was such good press that KLM decided not to.

it is still used in the Belgian press as soon as an article is posted about KLM :smile_2:
I like the picture a lot, as a matter of fact I have still a paper version of the picture on the wall :smile_2:
