Soonto be back in the skies once again by wayof the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation will be the mighty C-97(377) Stratocruiser. She will come alive once again as a Flying museum dedicated to Cold War yrs history. Her interior will be made up of many displays,showcases & memorabilia & artifacts. This great Boeing Proptransport is being preserved in flying condition by dedicated volunteers all over the Country.The painting is now complete & the mighty STRAT looks fantastic in Her new paint scheme! The ferry flight looks like it will now take place sometime in spring 2001.The C-97G will go to the hangar in the NYC area where the work will begin on the displays & museum.Only 2 AIRWORTHY STRATS exist in the World Today! She will be on a mission of history & education & flying classroom and will attend various airshows & special events around the country.
