Location: Portland
Department Flight Operations/Dispatch

Minimum Wage/ Salary: $12.00/hr

Minimum Requirements:
-Must possess Aircraft Dispatchers certificate.
-College degree strongly preferred.
-Previous operational experience preferred.
-Superior communication skills.
-Ability to work under high stress.
-Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
-Fundamental knowledge of Air Traffic Control system.
-Willingness to work any shift.
-Strong computer skills with ability to type 45 WPM.
-Previous leadership experience preferred.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum age of 23.
-Authorization to work in the U.S.
-Regular and predictable attendance.
Primary Duties:
Dispatch Horizon Air aircraft in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Company policies. Monitor progress of all flights governed under FAR Part 91 and 121. Assist the Flight Control Manager in the development and implementation of abnormal operations’ plans. Other duties as assigned.
