Has anyone heard any rumors about a date for training to start for Southwest? I had an interview in May (!) and just this week got "the call" saying I was accepted into training. So I was curious if anyone had heard. images/icons/confused.gif

I can confirm that a new flight attendant class of about 140 just started at Southwest. My guess is that, if you got the invite, you'll be in the next scheduled class. Which should be in about 4 to 6 weeks.

F/A applicant who was interviewed in March started training last Monday. Two who were interviewed in April have been invited to September training class. I was interviewed in May and have not yet gotten a class date but SWA is flying me to Las Vegas on 9/5 for finger printing.

I interviewed in August....and got my "Dear John" letter yesterday!
