Hi Jenny,
I know you've had a variety of airline/airplane related jobs already. I'm not sure if you are looking for yourself here. Have you already worked for a fixed base operator? I flew Cessnas before I had kids, and the flight school /FBO had several "girl/guy Friday" positions. They were a combination of dispatcher, scheduler, office manager, had contact with the local tower, helped the students and the licensed private pilots with weather reports, flight plans, etc. They got to know everyone and seemed to love the work. I doubt that they were paid much. I wonder if your local airfield or flight school might have something similar available? One of the women in my class quit being an FA after a few months to return to the above type of work.

Jenny,
A second thought. Go to www.weatherdata.com. (http://www.weatherdata.com.) They market to aviation related industries. Perhaps you could send them a resume--there are no specific openings mentioned. You'd be great in sales and marketing if you don't have the high level of technical expertise for other jobs.

Not sure what the requirements are but you can check into the FAA Contract Tower Program. I have heard from buddies of mine that they are usually staffed by retirees from the Agency as well as former PATCO Controllers.
Good Luck!

contracted out / with waivers.
my friend gets waivers to work there, he's like 70...
and they still say you must be 29 and under.
but who knows, maybe somewhere else isn't so strict . I'll look into it.
thanks!
