I heard that KLM wants to get rid of all the pursers! They cost too much money!

How much do you think it will cost to get them out? KLM isn't stupid.

So as a matter of interest, who will be responsible for the passenger-safety in the cabin. Sure there must be some kind of supervisor aboard to take on that responsibility? I mean, if another crewmember gets appointed to do the same job, wouldn't that be just like a purser?

Next time you use your keyboard put on your glasses and don't forget to pack your brain(if available)
See you again after 22 years on duty if you have the stamina to stay that long!

They could do it easily not replacing them as they retire.
It has been done before.
