Hello Everyone,

I would like some information regarding reapplying with an airline. Some airlines say you can reapply after 6 or 12 months.

In August I attended an open house and blew my chance. I was really, really nervous. Mostly because I really wanted to fly for that specific airline. They are based in my home city and have their training there.

My past experience flying with a major airline makes me a competitive candidate. I flew in 1990 for two years and was furloughed and didn't return on the recall due to maternity.

Any insight or information you have would be greatly appreciated. I'm so tempted to go to another one of their information sessions next month or so. How do they keep track of all applicants? What do you think? Thank you so much!

Hey AZ - Most airlines say reapply after one year. Somehow, I would bet that they keep up with it. Probably through your social security number.

United, Northwest and Continental are hiring. United was conducting a cattle call in my hometown recently and someone posted a number for Northwest on this website not too long ago. I don't know why I know about Continental. Perhaps someone told me.

Yes, I blew an interview with Delta a few years ago. I was not feeling well that day and I was eating crackers and drinking a Coke in the waiting room to keep from throwing up. They probably did not think that was professional. Next time, I'll just throw up. However, I hope there will not be a next time. I hate the interview process and I like where I am.

Give those airlines a jingle and keep me updated. Best of luck!
