Hi,
Does anyone know about any airlines that are recruiting English crew at the moment. The only one I can ever seem to find recruiting is Virgin.
Alternatively does anyone know if any airlines will recruit English crew and help with visa's so that they can work abroad (eg. USA).
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am pulling my hair out trying to find any.
Thnak you.

Tim, I always seem to be seeing ads for British Midland hiring cabin crews in the Sunday paper. They seem to prefer those that speak a second European language.

Thanks Galley Wench.
Which newspaper's have you seen those adverts in, I think I must be reading the wrong ones......
I'm hoping I wont have a problem with a second language as I have linguistic skills (to varying degrees) in 3 languages other than English. So hopefully I should be of high enough standard in at least one of them to qualify.
Thank you for replying, all help is greatly appreciated.

You won't see many ad's, get airline details and get CV' (resumes) out, call the chief pilots (if you can get through) make a good impression with the chief pilots secretary, be nice to them and stay in touch, things change in the airline world from day to day and pilots are always on the move until they get on with their choice company,
Make sure you make a point of, how much notice you have to give with your present employer, if someone drops off a type rating course, they will need a replacement quick, and employed pilots usually have to give 3 months so the airline has to go with the next best (city flyer is 5 months), if you have been in regular contact, and are ready you are in.
Make sure you know the name of every chief pilot of every company you are interested in, their secretary's names etc etc.
Good luck
