Hi all,

I know there's only a slim chance, but are any of you cabin crew with BD?
As my username suggests, it's my ambition to work for BD when I've left college.

I've read that the selection process with BD is dreadfull & often embaracing! Is that true?

Also, what's your everyday life with BD like?
Is the pay good in comparison to other UK airlines?
What's the height limit (for blokes) as I'm 6ft and I know that makes me too tall for some UK airlines, but what about BD?

I'm quite good in French and I'll begin learning Spanish too later this year. How fluent do you have to be to work for BD?

Any info will be grately appreciated.

Cheers,
Jamie.

Jamie!

Although I didn't go along to the interview, I did apply to BD last year. The application is pretty straightforward - basic educational details, work history etc. - and there is a section where you have to detail your reasons for wanting to apply to BD. You need to supply a full-length and head/shoulders photo too. I have friends working for BD who tell me the whole process starts with group activities, (as so many of these things do!), including a scenario in which you are working as BD crew, there is an accident and the question which the group debates is whether to stay with the pax or go and get help. Apparently, the 'correct' answer is to split up and some stay qwhile some go.

Good luck anyway!
