Flight Attendant
Job Location:
Appleton, Wisconsin
Job Summary:
As a flight attendant for Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation, you will experience the excitement of traveling around the continental United States while providing a variety of inflight services to our customers.
Safety is the primary responsibility of all Air Wisconsin flight attendants. Cabin crew members conduct pre-flight and post-flight safety checks, ensure cabin security, monitor all inflight activity, and provide passengers with an explanation and demonstration of the safety features and procedures of all aircraft in Air Wisconsin's fleet.
Qualifications:
All participants in the initial training program are evaluated in three areas: Academics, Emergency Procedures, and Human Relations. Additionally, a positive attitude and the ability to exercise good judgment are essential.
If interested in becoming a flight attendant for Air Wisconsin, you must meet the following qualifications:
Be a minimum of 19 years of age.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have a minimum of 2 years of public contact experience
Possess strong communication skills
Be willing to relocate to Denver, Colorado or Appleton, Wisconsin. (Domiciles are awarded to new flight attendants during their initial training process. If necessary, moving days on a non-pay basis are available.) In addition, all candidates must:
Attend 6 weeks of training
Pass a pre-employment drug screen
Pass a 10-year FAA required background check
Have the flexibility to work days, nights, holidays and weekends Compensation/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
An extensive six-week training program is required. This training takes place in Appleton, Wisconsin, Colorado Springs or Denver, Colorado. If applicable, transportation and hotel accommodations are provided. Meal expenses are issued on a predetermined schedule.
