Afraid to Apply Again

I interviewed with two major carriers last year and got hired on the spot...(also have graduation wings, diploma, and have passed my I.O.E. training flight with a charter airline but didn't like their treatment of employees), but at the time could not go to training due to family difficulties...Since then I have gained a misdemeanor charge on my once spotless record (me and another guy arrested in a public park for well, you know)...I want to interview again, but afraid I'll never make it to the second phase with that on my record...any thoughts?

Hate to tell you but I have heard of trainees sent home after the company completed a background check. You could always try and maybe you'd make it, but I wouldn't quit a good job.
