I was browsing throught the Virgin-USA web site, and was curious about the job benefits for working for Mr. Branson. I'd really enjoy being a flight attendent for VS, however, since I am from the US, I don't see that happening any time soon, unless I marry a UK Citizen. I've done ground staffing for a major US airline recently, and would like to work for "THE BEST!" Any info on benefits would be appreciated!

Hi BMAS!

I'm afraid that I can't tell you what the benefits are like for VS when working in the US. I know that the standard concessions are 7 free flights per year, 6 service charge flts per year and unlimited id90s. As for the specific US pensions etc etc try calling reservations on 1-800-862-8621 ( I think......hmmm...can't remember) They should be able to give you a phone number for recriutment. Although we moan about the company (as everyone does) VS is a nice place to work. We are relatively small compared to many carriers and it's nice to see the same faces often. Give it a try!

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the information! I would really like to find a way to gain UK Citizenship and then work in the Cabin for VS. I like small, but successful airlines. It leads to a more "family" feel!

Thanks for the help!

You're right. There is a kind of "family" feel at VS. It's nice to get on a flight and know that you will probably know at least 2 or 3 people. However, we are growing so fast and so many new crew are joining that I wonder how long it will last. Good Luck BMAS, with a bit of luck I may see you on line!!
