hello again to all you virgin guys n gals! After having written about our BA crew having a brilliant trip with you guys down in Lagos during your first days down there I cant believe how different your crew were in Bgi on the 14th-15th! As you know we all arrive at the Tamarind Cove at roughly the same time and both crews were down for drinks after not too long. We'd bought some duty free pimms and were making up jugs of the stuff and our csd (ifs) went up to your crew and asked if they would like to join us. The response was some ar**hole, who i suspect may well have been a pilot, saying "maybe we will maybe we wont" in a rude manner and the rest of the crew ignoring us all night without even a thanks for the invite. The last thing I want to do is appear nasty cos at the end of the day I've had some bloody good nights out with some of you guys from time to time but isn't this "we're not talking to you you're BA" attitude adopted by some of your collegues getting a bit boring??? At the end of the day we are all aircrew away from home and our wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, kids etc when most of the time we probably don't deep down want to be so what is so bad about mixing and having a good time together?? I can't speak for our Heathrow based crew but at Gatwick there are certainly plenty of blokes and girls who like a party why is it so out of the question for some of you lot to party together??

Well I can't speak for that crew but I've always got on with Vir-gin ( & tonic)crew when was that because at the moment the trip is from LGW and in the winter Both LGW & LHR crews do the trip from there own base! NBO/LOS are good piss ups which crew from KLM-virgin-SAS-you name it are there
Like you said some crew member or flight deck on a bad day on there behalf sorry some times that trip is a back 2 back they might of been trashed but still on excuse for that
I'm LGW so next time I might be there no excuse that night lets go wild??
There is a great true story about BGI there is a CSD at LGW that put his mates case in the pool when they arrived at the hotel for a joke he and all the crew had a good laugh even the guy who's case it was!!
But there was a B.A pax looking at them and did'nt like them having fun ( and the crew staying at his hotel) and reported them to B.A the C.S.D is still at LGW look out for him I Can't say much as you don't know who reads this
Well got to go but don't be put off B.A crew there is only 1/2 that don't have a good time down route there are 14,000 others that do!!

Minglo.........
What can I say? He must have been a pilot because in all my time here I have never seen cabin crwe do anything like that. Anyway, let me give you a little background to BGI aswell. For the 6 months Jan-Jun we had a core crew doing the Carribean destinations BGI ANU UVF. We did this on an Air Atlanta plane, painted and kitted out as our own and with our cabin crew. I operated this core crew (the reason why I haven't been posting as much as I'd like as there are not many accessible computers over there!) and we had a blast with your guys. I really don't understand why some crew get like that (as I said probably tight-deck crew) because we all get the same crap just dropped on us by different bast**ds! Tell you what Minglo, when I bump into you down route WE'LL show 'em how it's done!!!! Take care mate.
