Virgin girls!! - mmmmmmm....!!!!!!!!!

Hi there Virgin girlies just a quick one to say that I carry lots of you on our domestic shuttle routes and see you around at LGW and even have some friends who work for you. You all always look fantastic and Uncle Richard seems to have some of the best looking girlies in the country flying for him - even out of uniform (mmm....).
Is that girl who was the centre of attention in that AIRLINE programme still working for you? I tought I brought her from MAN - LGW the other day but counldn't be arsed to ask her as she looked very moody!!! Still looked pretty foxy though!!! lol!!! images/icons/wink.gif

apparently she left VS and went to NZ but didnt like the Hat..i think she was supposed to re apply to VS but not sure where she is now... this was like a year or 2 ago (i know her from when i wrked at selfridges Manchester)

I remember that interview "I used to work in Selfridges" "wha were you selling" "jewellery or perfume" "expensive?" "No it was cheap really"
And moaning about the shoes and having her hair in a bun

Hate to disappoint you BMI, but contrary to popular opinion not all of the girls at VS are your stereotypical Bimbette Trolley Dollies.... I know that there are indeed a lot of very pretty girls working at VS and I am sure that there must have been an unwritten rule of thumb for recruiters when it came to looks IN THE PAST. I am sure you would be surprised just how many of our crew have degrees and qualifications up the ying yang, however, the young lady you mentioned from Airport......I never met her but I understand what you mean from her performance on BBC 1, didn't do herself any favours.....

Being myself an ex-Virgin Express employee, I must admit that at selection they look for the nicier girls (and boys) in the group, if they have a degree or qualification, it is even better.

One thing where all Virgin airlines excell, is the grooming. How many grooming checks have you in a year. At Virgin Express, it was nearly every briefing, you got a remark on your make up, panty hoses, nailpolish tatatatata with one result, girls look nice at Virgin. The boys got tips concerning hair, nails, shaving...

We carry a lot of VS girls (and the odd guy!) back and forth to/from LHR/LGW and I can honestly say that they are very pleasant and friendly, even though they are either going on to a long flight or have just come back from one. It's just a shame we don't look after them as much as we should...after all, we have to look after eachother because nobody else is going to!

the reason most off us virgin crew dont smile , is that we are long haul crew , and we get short haul wage .which soon will be sorted out by our lovely union ,cabin crew 89" . then maybe we will have something to smile about images/icons/smile.gif ,and for BMI ..
