Hearing so many rumours of some crew meeting at gyms and bribing schedulers so they get good trips. Fed up with a load of cr*p myself - must be doing their rubbish trips I think. Think schedulers are aware of it as we now cannot go to their main offices on 2nd floor of compass without an appointment. ALL rostering should be done by computer. If you phone in fit from sick, they should type in your staff number and let the computer roster you a trip. Fairshares for all? I dont think so.

I totally agree! People moan that "Tracie" or our new scheduling system "Atlas" do not work, and do not roster a fair share of trips. Well, to some extent thats true... because of the human ellement involved are constantly interfering, and rostering trips manually. People do bribe, or have best mates that work in scheduling... the blatant favouritism towards some crew members makes me sick. What is worse, the fact that BA and our unions turn a blind eye to all this!

I dont know about LHR but at LGW they seem to be taking this matter seriously, there is a list of crew who do seem to spend rather alot of time in GRU or EZE and I am led to believe that the MCSs are looking into it but I think we all know that in the real world this is going to go on no matter what its been the same as long as I have been with BA

I don't know whether it is a "human" thing or whether it is just the computer. Both my mum and I fly on the same fleet with the same licences and we both bid. She gets soooooo many 3 day trips that she simply doesn't want as she prefers to be at home whereas I get so few (2 in the last 6 months) and there's no way that she bribes that lot upstairs! As regards having to have an appointment to go and see them upstairs -- get over yourselves you arrogant b**tards! I am YOUR customer don'y you dare tell me to get an appointment! I've been up there a couple of times and have been asked rather sheepishly whether I have an appointment or not, when I say no they just shrug and say never mind images/icons/mad.gif
