Anyone know what's happening with regards to TLV operation? Company website says operation to that station is back to normal. However it appears flights are going through LCA. A mate has had his TLV changed to (still) three day trip operating LHR-LCA and then position home on short haul. Are some crews then poscabing to LCA and then doing shuttle(s) to TLV?. Any info apreciated as I start QRS tomorrow. As an addendum what about trips to middle east region in general? Could you refuse to operate without threat of intimidation/reprisals? I think KWI not a million years ago is uppermost in all our minds.
Safe flying everyone.

Sorry Chris, You know more than me on this one. Didn't know anything about positioning.
I know we stay in Nicosia - concrete heaven from what I remember from years back. I too would like to know as I have a 3 day TLV coming up. Joy.

Well Chris, this won't be of much help to you but all I can say is that I've opertated a couple of LCAs this month and on both we had Longhaul crew positioning back to LHR.
They had just operated LHR/LCA with about 18 hours lay over. Now, what happens from LCA onwards is still beyond me! images/icons/confused.gif

Mate has just operated to TLV. 3 day trip. Operate late out of LHR to LCA then do LCA-TLV-LHR getting back at lunch time third day. He says it was OK and was not any trouble. I have just had my ISB cancelled so thats OK. Going to JFK instead! With an 0715 check in UGH.
