Hello all, this is Ellen Church, the world's first stewardess.
Okay, maybe not. This is really Jason, and I'm a flight attendant for United. I'm based in Washington, DC, and I've been doing this for three years.
Paul Wink, administrator for the Crew Rumors board, has asked me to serve as moderator for the time being, and I'm pleased to be of service.
This is only a temporary assignment for me, as in May I'll be taking a leave-of-absence from United to pursue a long time dream of going to Africa with the U.S. Peace Corps. While there, I'll be doing rural health education in Malawi, east-central Africa.
Just a quick word on posting. This is meant to be an open forum to discuss all aspects of the Friendly Skies. All I ask is that racist, sexist, homophobic, and other derogatory remarks be left out.
So that said, let's prepare for take off!
