Please note that we, at AC, have started a "black ribbon campaign" to show our support for the crews and family members of our colleagues at AA and UA.

The black ribbons are available at each of our crew base starting Sept. 12th.

The events of Sept. 11th are most tragic, and through this ribbon we wish to show our colleagues at AA and UA that they are in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for giving us a way to express our grief and shock at the senseless attack on our American neighbours and our brothers and sisters at United and American Airlines. God Bless America.

When Canada rescued some of our hostages from Iran in 1979, my family proudly flew the Canadian flag on our flag pole, and a banner was put up at our town hall that stated, "Thank You, Canada"

Yes, wear a black ribbon. But please also where a red, white and blue ribbon.

No two countries in the world are as close as us. What happens in our countries profoundly affects each other. My best friend who works for UA has spent a lovely three days in Saint John's. I told her she better no come back without at least a t-shirt or magnet for me.

P.S. Saskatoon ("Sassy Tuna") is my fave layover in Canada. Shocking isn't it?

To all of you at UAL and AA who have lost family, friends and co-workers, our thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless all of you!

Please take some time throughout your day tomorrow to remember those who have lost their lives, ask that comfort be given to the grieving relatives and friends, and that strength and courage be given to all the rescue workers.

Condolences from US Airways crewmembers

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
