Hi, your Air Canada fellow crewmembers needs your help. We are presently bargaining for our new contract and we need to have some crucial informations in order to do a good bargaining. If you could answer some or all those questions, it would be greatly appreciated. Please mention your airline and if you are unionized or not.
1)What is the minimum crew complement on each of your aircraft types.
2) Where are your lay-overs, are they downtown, are they close to the airport, and if downtown, after how many lay-over hours do you get a downtown location?
3)Do you have premiums such as night premiums, overseas premium, languages premium and if yes, how much and what are the conditions to get them.
4)Do you have Uniform Cleaning, Shoe allowance and if yes, how much
5)what are your Per Diems during lay-overs, and how is it calculated.
6)On flights that are more than 16 hours of duration, what is your crew complement, premiums, crew rest during the flight, lay-over duration, crew rest at return to base and penalty to the company is the crew rest area is broken or ineffective or what is the compensation to the crew members.
Thank you very much for your help, it is very important to us....
