At the present time iam working with AT. ground handling in toronto>> and believe me its not pretty .. before this i worked with Canada3000 and was part of Royal Ground Handling .. and compared to transat we "former royal ground handling employees" are disgusted at the way Handlex runs things >> iam not saying its bad or unproffesional, by all means all companies run differently i just beleive that there is so much more room for improvement, that should of been taken care of a long time ago. I hate to boast, but what made Royal handling not airlines a good company to work for was that the employees cared about all aspects of the job, including Flight attendants and pilot and maintenance, our attitude was that if they dont do thier job, we wont have one either. In another words .. we are all connected by a passion of flying and aviation.. Me personally I LOVE IT all...and everyhing..
I know transat Flight attendant are having some hard times right now, i hope everything improves for you REALLY.
I might be ground handling but i dont plan to be there for LIFE! I love what i do, but want nothing more than to be in the sky.
I am thinking of applying for Flight attendant,
Any opportunities coming up ??? maybe.
Until then i hope that Aircrews, realize that not all of us are bad employees on the ground, there is a small group of people there that care for thier jobs > all former Royal employees and some from Handlex as well > I wish the rest would get off thier ass and work!! The union is not suppose to make a company better, but its suppose help the process, its the employees that make it better and a good place to work at!.
" We might of been bought out by C3, but that says to me> that we were a theat to thier continued succes, but deep down inside, Royal Handling, not Airlines >> is where the Heart is.> They didn't fail because of us, after the switch from Hudson General to Royal Handling C3 and Canjet Flight crews love the new energy the imminating from the ground up, by the ground handling company.
Now new and proud >> Air Transat > Handlex ground services. graemlins/pilot2_smilie.gif images/icons/wink.gif graemlins/windsock_smilie.gif
