I am employed with HP and I would like to have some inputs, tips, suggestions from employees from ATA (American Trans Air). I am trying to plan a trip to Hawaii. I want to bring 2 companions using the special companion rate that ATA offers for non-eligbile companions from LAX-HNL or SFO-HNL. I plan to go in late Sept or early OCT. and I need to know the best days for non-reving on this route. I realize LAX/SFO-HNL routes are popular for non-revs and regular paxs. I have hear horror stories from diffrent co-workers about non-reving on ATA that is a joke to non-rev on this carrier. The only reason why I am considering ATA is because they are the only airline to my knowlege that offers the non-family companion deal on this route.
