Who does Jetsgo lease their MD-80"s from?
Are they a good type for a no-frills-airline?
Have you flown on them? If so what is the service like?
Any pictures of planes, uniforms, interiors etc.?
Thanks

Dear Buzz146,

first of all Jetsgo is probably like any no-frill airlines a good airlines. The are leasing their MD-83 from ( if I am not mistaken) Singapor airlines and American Airlines. The 4th MD-83 is coming in the fall and the last rumor was that they are planning of having 7 planes by the end of next years. They are starting FLL in November, so far that's also the last rumor. Salary wise, f/a are pay 19.00$ an hour and are garanty 90 hours a month. They have reserve day in all their block and reserve goes as follow. Reserve am is from 04:00 to 18:00 and reserve pm is from 12:00 to 12:00 and reserve day are not pay. They've been unionised since the first day of operation with Teamster, but member of the board and no negotiation have started yet. you can visit their website at www.jetsgo.net. (http://www.jetsgo.net.) Now I am let you decide if they're a good company to work for.

happy flying

HI all

I thought that these aircraft all came from Boeing.... Boeing in part inherited them from the other carriers as they renewed fleet. As I had heard it Boeing gave Jetsgo quite a good deal on them, as well as startup money. Guess they want them later on when it comes time to buy new.
