I have just started working as an FA at jmc Airlines in the United Kingdom.
At the moment I am only flying Airbus A320 and Boeing 757, but when I get to longhaul, I will be flying the Airbus A330.
Can you guys tell me a bit about this 'plane, like what's it like to work on etc.?
Thanx

Buzz, the A330 is a "short A340". In the Boeing fleet, the most similar is the 767, although they are separated by some 20 years of technical improvements. So maybe we should compare it to the 777, although it's much smaller.
I think you'll have to get there to really make the experience. It's like trying to explain your boyfriend to someone images/icons/grin.gif . Plus, every company choose its own layouts and gizmos. AF ones have a screen on every seat, with a system that allows the pax to start the movie he wants whenever he likes. The bar in the P/J sections looks like it has been taken from the Enterprise, blue lights and polished metal.
On my experience it's one of the best aircrafts I ever flew, very F/A-friendly and with the same GREAT Lower Crew Rest as the A340.
You'll love it.

Hi buzz146/jmc
At sabena we had the Airbus A330. They, and their big brother the Airbus A340, are lovely 'planes to work on, and I would say better than the Boeings.
Have lots of fun.

Dudes, I love this baby!
I've done two long-haul round-trips on the A330 and she is so customer and flight attendant friendly.
I'll have to write up a full report when I have more time!
