Una domanda. Per il momento lavoro per Air Canada. Sono un assistente di volo. Vorrei lavorare per ALITALIA.

At the moment it's impossible, because they are not hiring. You'll need a EU passport to apply.

I have the italian citizenship so that's not the problem it's just trying to enter with that campany that's the hard part it seems that they never hire. Plus I would like to get more information on how Alitalia works. Are you on reserve. When ever I travel back home to italia there flight attendants always give me different information.

AZ has not been hiring for 2 years now. Last time they hired only people having already with F/A licence, the "Certificazione". Usually companies train their F/A to pass the licence, but that time they needed people very quickly so they got people "ready made". Ufortunately, unlike France in Italy you can only get the licence through an airline.
If you explain exactly what you'd like to know about how AZ works I'll try to help you, or maybe our friend Fiesta who's AZ could do it.

mmmhh first of all be prepared, if you 'll apply for az nothing is sure, az just started hiring again, but started with people who did the f/a course almost 2 years ago, in order to get a full time life contract, you'll have to do at least 6 seasonal contracts, which means working, 4 to 10 months a year, for 5 years at least, no seniority, nothing is sure in our airline, if you have more questions just drop me a line at fiesta31@libero.it.i would be happy to answer you. just be aware that it's quite hard . hope i got you not depressed but that's the way it works here

I will keep you in mind. Is Alitlia truly based on looks though because that is always the rumors I hear. what about the training is that hard too because our traing was 2 months.
