Ciao a tutti,

I have been called by AZ to attend an interview this Thursday in Rome. Italian is not my mother tongue but I do speak it quite well, the only problem is I am not to good when it comes to writing it! Does anyone know what I can expect from the interview? I heard its not a group session, its a one on one with a psychologist and interviewer followed by an English exam and should take ALL DAY!!!!
HELP! Im so nervous. ..... ciao!

All I can say is IT WAS A SHOCKER and a complete waste of time. After arriving at 0930 in plenty of time for the interview which was scheduled for 10am, security refused to let me in, apparently I wasnt on the 10am list. After a succession of calls, ie. about 100 of them, security realised that there had been an error as there were 6 of us not on the list. By this stage it was 1020 and we were granted entry. Found the interview room, where the interviewer was extremely pissed that we had kept her waiting 20 minutes. We were all given a form to fill in, 10 questions, not very technical which took us all of 3 minutes to complete. The interviewer though decided that she would go have her coffee break and returned 45 minutes later. During this time, I and my fellow interviewees got to talking and discovered the following. One was at the interview for the position of check-in, another for baggage services, two for reservations, and myself and another had been told the interview was for cabin crew. When the interviewer returned, we decided it was best to ask what the position was and were told the following.... 'the job is scheduling cabin crew/pilot time tables'... images/icons/frown.gif not a word from anyone.
I didnt know whether to laugh or cry... she went on to explain salary, interview process (4 interviews plus medical), salary was absolute peanuts, what I make in one month at my current role would take me 3.5 months at AZ. I thought it would be rude to get up and leave then and there, but I stayed to do the first psychological test... a breeze, but the second was a nightmare. Not only were the terms too technical as it was all in Italian and my Italian skills are not 100%, but I saw the other candidates also struggling. So I got up, wished the others the best and left. I bumped into the interviewer on my exit and she insisted in yelling at me while I told her that I didnt think the job was for me. Her reaction was to shout about how I had wasted her time..... WASTED HER TIME??? AZ get your act together, I should have known better.
