Italian regional carrier Gandalf Airlines is to begin serving Paris Charles de Gaulle from Verona Villafranca this November as it continues to build on its key codeshare with SkyTeam carrier Air France.
Gandalf will begin the new daily Verona-Paris service on 1 November, the same date it switches its four daily Bergamo-Paris flights from Charles de Gaulle to Orly airport.
Since May the all Fairchild Dornier 328JET and 328 turboprop operator, has also been wet-leasing a Bombardier CRJ-700s from Air France regional unit Britair for use on the Milan Linate-Paris Charles de Gaulle route it also operates under a codeshare with Air France.
Last summer the carrier slashed its route network, but this year has been multiplying codeshare agreements. In addition to Air France, it has been increasing co-operation with Italian regional airlines, Catanzaro-based Minerva and Venice-based Alpi Eagles.
