pilot medical exams

I have heard that pilots take their medical exams every 6 months or so.....so what do they check?
What about flight attendants? What kind of medical exams do they have? (i'm trying to get more info on F/A job as long as i'm considering one) images/icons/confused.gif images/icons/confused.gif images/icons/confused.gif
