Are there any studies as to if and how flying affects fertility/pregnancy in airline employees?

Or any studies on how radiation affects the fetus of a pregnant flight attendant.

Hi ifly,
No idea about your part of the job,
but for me sitting down for 10 hours sure doesn't help.
For males there's a reason why our little guys are outside our body.
Temperature.
For females I understand that a regular pattern is better.
That's though in this job.
And of course stress is never good.
That might occur easier with lack of sleep.
Some feel that a good balance of vitamins and minerals are important.
Again our eating pattern; not a plus.
But your physician might have more info on that.
We also visited a fertility office in the US.
Just to see if there was a difference. And there is.
They are much, much more expensive but approach the problem more aggressively.
And when you want some answers that can be a nice thing.
Even when all you want is info.

Servus Ifly!
Go to
www.pubmed.com (http://www.pubmed.com)
and type in "flight attendant + pregnancy"!
It's quite medical terminology, but still interesting!

I'd also be interested in finding out about flying and breast cancer...we seem to lose more than our fair share of coworkers to this horrible disease... images/icons/frown.gif
