A Steroid Query

Hey Doc-
Are steroids usually on the lists of substances that are verboten for crewmembers? Had this asked of me, recently, and didn't know how to respond.

The FAA allows some steroid use. Each is a case by case decision. It's the condition treated which determines the approval.
