Hi Easy!
Metrojet is no more. The low fare branch of US Airways was dissolved as a result of 9-11 and supposedly being unable to compete with Southwest out of the Baltimore market. The company said our flights were full but our costs were too high. Only the pilot group was paid differently than "mainline" US Airways employees. It was an all 737-200 operation and those planes have since been parked in the desert. I never flew Metrojet, but colleagues who have either loved it or hated it.
Sorry I don't know more but hopefully some Metrojet veterans will come to this forum and provide you with the information you want. images/icons/smile.gif

I was just wondering if the flight attendants on MJ also flew US Airways mainline flights?

Yes, the flight attendants in BWI flew both MetroJet and regular mainline US AIRWAYS flights. Most of the flights out of BWI were MetroJet.
Since BWI will no longer be a flight crew bse, those mainline flights are going to be shifted over to DCA.
