Hey all,
I am being recalled for July 1st. I am going to LGA. Does anyone know of any open crash pads there? I could use some help. Thanks.

I don't know of any but I would suggest posting on the Delta, American, United and Northwest boards. Almost everyone has a base there and there are usually dozens of openings in Kew Gardens (Queens)Also, if you go to flightattendants.org, they have a discussion board just for people looking for places to live. Good luck and welcome back!

USAirGirl,
Yes do try Kew Gardens, NY. It's in between JFK and LGA. Go to the intersection of Metropolitan and Lefferts Blvds., and you will find a crashpad. If that dosen't work you can go to www.crashpads.com (http://www.crashpads.com) and they a have a list of all crashpads in base cities.
Glad to see US Airways is recalling!

If crashpads are not your cup a tea, there are motels. Hopefully, there are some nearby that could be used for sitting reserve . I will try to find out what I can in regards to motels/hotels that are somewhat affordable.
The Sunrise Hotel, is were a lot of commuters stay. Ask jetBlue Brad, about it. If I recall he said that he stays their.

HUSTLER,
Thanks for letting me know about the Sunrise Hotel. I will be sure to check into that place. I gathered information about other hotels as well.
Thanks again!

There is the Ramada and Clarion that are suppose to be close to the LGA airport. I am pretty sure that possibly we can airline discounts on rooms.

I will be in LGA Tuesday morning. My friends and I are just going to commute it. We will just stay in a motel on our reserve days.
I may stay in LGA if I can get a block in August. At least I will know my schedule. Then I will commute to and from home in PHL. With that , I would only have to get a motel a few times out of the month a night before I start a trip the next day.

I will stay at a commuter hotel. Crashpads are not my cup of tea.
It was nice to see everyone that I have not seen in several months.
Back to the life of the flight attendant, and I will be a commuter. I was based in PHL, but I am in LGA now. So, I will commute between LGA and PHL. PHL is home for me.
