Hey, has anybody heard anthing about the movie A View From the Top? It was supposed to be out around now, then summer, now Oct, because of 9/11 (silly i think). It stars Gwenyth Paltrow as a girl from humble beginnings who dreams of being "an international first class flight attendant". Christina Applegate (who I adore) plays her competition in training, Robe Lowe is a pilot, Candice Bergen is a senior mama, and Mike Myers is an instructor. Supposedly it's about PSA and judging from the photos I saw they were definatly Catching Our Smiles in the uniforms. Has anyone heard anything about it? I wonder if it will show the USAir buyout...

If you do a search in Yahoo, etc. with keywords like "Paltrow a view from the top", you'll get a bunch of sites describing the movie.

Evidently, it won't be released until at least October, according to most of those sites. The sites also say that the producers are just trying to be sensitive to the public as a result of 9/11.

They really want to release the film, and prior to 9/11, it was a much-talked-about project in Hollywood, with a pretty good cast.

None of the sites I saw mentioned anything about PSA or US.
