I read that for flight attendants there is the possibility of wage cuts, work rule changes, benefit reductions, and tc.
I read this at the afa usairways website. I know that there our MEC will have more discussions with the company.

I know that there are alot of concerns about having to accept concessions to help save the company from going out of business.
I know that as employees we are being asked to accept wage cuts and work rule changes. I know that there are concerns about having to make sacrifes when it was not our fault in the first place . We have many dedicated employees who go the extra mile for our customers. We get good ratings with our baggage handling, on-time performance, and a least amount of customer complaints compared to some of our competition.
History will tell us that many companies had demanded concessions from employees when their business was in really bad shape. Sure, it was not the fault of the employees, and yes , management did have a really lousy business plan.
But, sometimes in life you make compromises to try to remedy all the problems. Sure, it is a short term sacrice, but , hopefully it will help us survive as a company for the long term. We certainly hope we see the company recover and grow. Then we can be lucky that we have jobs and still get paychecks. Now is not a good time to be unemployed.
