Is this true or just a rumour.
I happened to be sitting next to a US Airways flight attendant when jump=seating on American Airlines last week, and, she said that MetroJet might be coming back?

The return of Metrojet AKA Jethrojet AKA Tomatojet...???
I am sure that is the product of the rumour mill. The Metrojet fleet consisted of 737-200s. They are all parked out in the Mojave desert. These airplanes are fuel-guzzlers... never much of a money-maker. graemlins/plane_smilie.gif

You guys crack me up with the various names for MetroJet. I remember one time on a layover in FLL, our crew rode with a MetroJet crew to the airport. These guys were a freakin' hoot....had me nearly wetting my pants talking about TomatoJet, GhettoJet.....great to see people having fun while they're working.

I stand corrected here, but I don't think that MetroJet is coming back.

I don't think we should have MetroJet. We should forget wasting our time with all that. We need to be more focused on growing the business,entering new markets to have more to offer for our loyal customers, that is what will help us in the long run. Yes, we need a good,viable business plan .
