I just read on yahoo biz that the Bush Administration just granted US Airways conditional approval of the loan guarantee that our airline applied for.
But, of course, all the labor unions have to have TAs and US Airways has to offer the government more of a stake in the company for the federal government to have in the meantime as a condition of the loan guarantee.
As optimistic as I am, I knew we would get the loan guarantee from the ATSB. images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif

For us to get the loan guarantees, it is dependent upon all the labor unions ratifying tenative agreements. And, of course the government will also have more of a stake in the airline. It is a good sign that the ATSB gave us conditional approval, because they have the option of voting for or against an airlines' application for a federal loan guarantee.
Yesterday, I read that Vanguard Airlines ceased operations. Furthermore, the ATSB rejected their application for a loan guarantee.
