It's time to pick where we want to have dinner on 9/7 in SFO! Only members who have signed up to attend the meeting are eligible to vote. That list is now closed.
Here's how to get your vote registered:
1. If you haven't already done so, please read the thread titled, "SFO Restaurant Ballot" in The Meeting Place forum. It has all of the information on the restaurants you're voting on.
2. Once you've decided your selection, send me an E-Mail with your choice. As the subject heading, please put "SFO Vote", so I will know it's your vote, and not a question, etc. on the meeting itself.
If for some reason the E-Mail comes back to you as "Undeliverable", then you can PM me with the same heading and information.
3. I will send you a reply that will give you information on where I'll be in SFO, and how you can contact me while I'm there. That will be your confirmation that I have received and recorded your vote.
This will be the only way you will be able to vote. Please don't post any votes here, as they will not be recorded.
Our Choice: There are 29 members listed as "Definite". I'm hoping that at least 15 votes are cast, since that will be a majority of the attending members.
Basically, the restaurant that gets the most votes wins.
I will vote last, so if there is a tie, I'll be the tie-breaker. If 15 votes are not cast, then I'll make the final decision of restaurant. Since I know 18 of us are confirmed for sure, I really don't think that will be a problem, but just in case there is, we're prepared.
I will notify everyone of our choice through the E-Mail list crewstart set up for me. If you need to change your address, please send an E-Mail to webmaster@crewstart.com. Paul tells me that simply updating your profile will not be sufficient, because the email has to be sent manually by the webmaster account.
The polls are now open! Voting will end at 12:30 P.M., U.S. Central Time, on Saturday, August 17 (a week from today). This gives everyone time to be able to vote, given all of our busy schedules. images/icons/smile.gif
