CP and Jetboy - I need advice! I'm heading your way at the end of October because I absolutely have to see Neil Diamond ( images/icons/blush.gif I'm so lame - no wonder I can't get a date)! So, which is the better city to see a geriatric guy in a sequined suit perform??? I've been to YVR lots and I like it - but have never been to YEG - I'd like to spend a couple days tooling around wherever I end up, so suggestions are greatly appreciated!

YEG??? Nooooooooooooooooooo!
I am not saying that coz I live in YVR, but YEG has some really weird characters(actually is kind of fun)
YVR has the beach and ME images/icons/wink.gif I can drive you around, YEG has very very friendly people, all depends on what you like, and also what time of the year(don't wanna be in YEG in january)

Jetboy - you should be a salesman! And of course you know, I'd never go to YVR just for Neil - it's all you babe! Anyway - let me know if you're up for a night of 70's/80's cheese and I'll grab a ticket for you, too! Does Anaconda need her own seat???

Hi Jessica!
You made a smart choice, I lived in both cities, I mean YEG is cool for a few days, but after a year it was definitely the time to leave. Edmontonians no offense!!! There are plenty of places to go out and a lot of nice folks too, but it is not the coolest city either. Beside, with Jetboy to show you around, I am 100% sure you made a wise choice. From what I read of him, he is the funniest!!!
Anyway have a good time in Canada "le plus meilleur pays du monde" to quote our premier Jean Chrétien!!!

Hey Jessica, I would date any girl that would fly to Canada for a Neil Dimond concert, nothing sad about it. Enjoy the show.
A question for those of you in YVR. I have visited your fair city, and fallen in love with it. Anyone have any tips on finding an affordable place to live there? Also any ideas on what it takes for a US citizen to live there? Thanks in advance.

I didn't get to see Neil. images/icons/frown.gif I listened to my double-live album the whole way up to SEA, but then I found that I was not getting tickets. *sigh* I'll get him next time!
