Hi to all of you here!
Mainly aimed at Studley who organises these things, but, hey!
Whilst I know that this forum is meant for airline crew employees, I am not one, but have an interest in the industry, and as you can tell by the name, have friends who work for Air Canada (well family friends etc.)
The point is, for meetings etc. is there an age limit? To join the legal minimum is 13 and I am slightly older than that. I am not stupid, I know it is exposing information, but I like being on the forum and occaisionally chatting!
And is it being held in Europe?
Yours

Hi 4321zip,

This is a really interesting question. I hope I can answer this in a way that explains things fully.

There really hasn't been a need for an established age limit, because most all of us are in our 20's, 30's, and older, and we do go out to clubs and bars when we meet.

So, there would be difficulties, age-wise, if you were to come to a meeting, IMHO. As a result, it's kind of understood by everyone that you should be at least 21. I personally would rather have everyone maintain that understanding.

I understand that there may be some in disagreement with this, but I base this information on the experiences I have already had concerning meetings.

The next two meetings I plan to put together are in 2003, in YVR (Vancouver) and in AMS (Amsterdam). This is as a result of the voting that was held in September and part of October.

However, anyone who wishes to have a meeting can just post here and set one up. And it doesn't have to be as complex as the SFO Meeting, either. In fact, one of those meetings has already taken place in England.

I hope that this answers your query. :smile_2:
