Can anyone name ALL the versions of the DC-3?
(I have to ask this question because it's my favorite classic aircraft...gotta LOVE those piston driven radial engines!!!)

If you are ever anywhere near Coventry England (in the centre, near Stratford) Air Atlantique is worth looking up, they have a DC 3 museum and still have them in active service.
You can even get a joy ride on certain days, normally in the summer. I can't find the link I have somewhere, but here is a good sight.... and dispatcher.... there's sounds on there! :smile_2:)

Used to be load master on one in the 80s who was flying LBG-CDG-BRU-CDG-LBG on a Fedex contract. (C-47 F-GDPP).
First leg was due to the fact no Avgas 100LL at CDG and we were based at LBG. Just 5 mn flight away ...
First flight , I couldnt make the return as we burst a tire at landing at BRU and airport was closed for about 2 hours.
I flew back to CDG on a F-28 of Unifly, made the radio at CDG for the landing and taxying, rushed to LBG to get a spare wheel as no available at BRU, and a guy drove it back to BRU as I was doing it as extra job in during the night ...
Had about 200 hours on the Lady and love her , like our Noratlas ....
