If you're referring to aircraft themselves as accomplishments, there are several.
- JN-4 "Jenny", the first plane to be used to carry airmail. It was originally developed as a WWI trainer aircraft.
- NC (Navy-Curtiss) flying boats for the Navy, of which the NC-4 was the first to cross the Atlantic, although it was not a nonstop flight.
As far as other aviation accomplishments, one of his aircraft was the first to takeoff and land from the decks of ships at sea. This plus the subsequent sale of the first aircraft to the U.S. Navy makes him the father of naval aviation.
As stated earlier, he also manufactured aircraft engines.
The following site lists more of his firsts.

If you are ever in Hammondsport, NY. Make sure you visit the museum. It is really cool.
Before moving to our present base we had a house in Hammondsport.

Glen Curtiss did more to develop the industry than the Wrights. He built more aircraft and more sucessful desings. Included are all the Ameican built aircraft to participate in WW1.

nikki and docent, The Curtiss JN-4 or "Jenny" as it's affectionately called was his greatest accomplishment. This aircraft not only served in WWI but was also instrumental in servicing the first air mail routes. The instatement of air mail routes was the catalyst to aviation as we know it today here in the US....so it served our country well! :pilot_2: :windsock:
