hey guys, happy new year!!!

we would like to know if you can find out at the dgac what one has to do to get the european ATPL if we already have the ATPL-ICAO.
we have 4,000 jet hours.
is the european ATP valid on all airlines in europe?

To get a Joint Aviation Authority (JAA) ATPL, you will have to do all the groundschool exams (about 16), a flight test and Instrument Rating test. They don`t seem to give to much credit to having previous experience or professional licences.

Don't know much about JAA requirement. However, I would think that it all depends on which ICAO ATPL you are talking about and also what you did for those 4000 hrs. :pilot_2:
