Any of you have New Year's resolutions you'd like to share with everyone else?

As for me, I am going to drop 3 kilos, continue NOT smoking (something I stopped continuing to do for the upteenth time last fall), and...ahem...for my partner's sake, spend a little less time on the internet! Or should I say, pursue more activities my partner and I can enjoy TOGETHER. Sounds better that way. :smile_2: :smile_2:

How about you all?

Mine would be to er, stop procrastinating and to try and follow a healthier lifestyle; more exercise, eating better, and just maybe try to establish a more regular sleep/wake cycle.

Here's to a New Year, a new forum, a fresh and better start for all of us! :smile_2:

Resolutions.....

Ummmm...

I just turned 40 yesterday and my resolution is to keep this old body of mine "in tune" for the next year.

As my nephew pointed out...it's not all that bad.. it's only half of 80 (ouch...)

Good luck with the non-smoking bit Snacky...I was fortunate enough to kick that habit about 7 years ago. :smirk:

Thanks ootb,

I, too, kicked it seven years ago, then five, then two, hopefully this time it will stick!

Happy Belated Birthday to you! You tell that smart-alecky nephew of yours that 40 is only a quarter away from 30!

Great thread to start!!

As for my resolutions, it's better to call them a personal quest:

- to find a meaningful volunteer forum, cause I desperately want to become more involved in my community
- to tighten my tongue and loosen my compassion
- to listen more and talk less
- to continue being positive rather than negative
and finally, but most importantly -

- to stop shopping on layovers!!!

Happy New Year all -
