SN Brussels Airlines is launching a new service to Tel Aviv flying four times a week to the city from 1 June using its new Airbus A319 aircraft.
The Brussels based carrier signed a deal in October to take three ex-Sabena A319s on operating lease for four years enabling the airline to up capacity and range capabilities. The new aircraft provides the additional range needed for SN Brussels to open services to the Israeli city.
In addition to its A319s, the carrier operates European services with its fleet of six BAE Systems BAe 146-200s, 14 Avro RJ85s and 12 Avro RJ100s. Its African services are operated on a wet-lease basis by Belgian ad hoc and charter carrier Birdy Airlines using its fleet of three A330-300s.
