Hi Guys!
When the airlines put their aircraft in the desert what happens to them?
I'm presuming that most of them get scrapped and are turned into aluminum something, but what would happen if someone wants to buy them, who now owns the planes?
Is it expensive for the airline to park up the planes?
Is it expensive to then restore them, as many of the desert pix show no engines on the airliners?
Just some questions!
Thanks

Ours have gone to the Mohave, Mirana, and Moses Lake. Most are waiting to be sold....in tact :plane:

So, what would happen?
Say I'm a start-up airline, GB737 Airways!
I find myself looking for some planes, (is Horizon F28s you just parked up?)?
Who do I go to? I find these F28s parked up, and I'd like to sub-lease them? How does that work?
