Have any of you ever had a reoccuring dream?
I have one on a regular basis and it involves someone who means the world to me!
I wake myself up sobbing from this heart wrenching dream!
:frown_2:

Any thoughts on this? :confus_2:

A reoccuring dream is a dream you keep having over and over and over!

<font color="purple">Why yes! As a child, I used to have a reoccuring dream of a Giant Polkaroo, walking down the street and crushing all the houses and people. Now, I still have dreams of a giant poke... Never mind... :smirk:

On a serious note, reoccuring dreams shouldn't be neglected. They are asking you to pay attention to something that is deep in your unconscious. The sometimes dificult part is trying to figure out what in your innerself is trying with insistance to make itself recognized.

Recurring dreams also are caused by things and feelings in the conscious part of one's mind, but manifest themselves in the subconscious, until that which is causing the feelings is addressed.

Proper interpretation of the dreams with the assistance of a licensed professional is necessary to determine their root cause.

Thanks guys...I think I have put the dream to rest.
Although, the circumstances that caused the dream still linger. I think I have been able to remedy the situation by talking to the person for whom the dream occurs and discussing a possible solution to ease my conscience.
Did I cunfuse ya more? Sweet dreams!

I`ve had a recurring dream now for years. Always one of two situations. Most often, I`m urgently trying to dial a phone number, but I keep pressing the wrong number by mistake, over and over again. It gets so frustrating.
The other one is where I`m trying to run away from something, but me legs are so heavy, it`s like running through syrup!

Anybody any idea what these mean???

Hey, I'm no expert here (hell, am I an expert in anything?), but I do have a thought on this...

Are you under any emotional stress? Because both of those dreams seem indicative of someone who feels trapped in a situation beyond their control.
