Regional carrier PGA Portugalia Airlines is starting new services linking Lisbon and Faro to Dublin as part of a codeshare agreement with Lisbon based Air Luxor.
The new agreement allows Portugalia to add its code to Air Luxor's current service from each of the Portuguese cities to Dublin twice weekly. Air Luxor currently operates Airbus A320 aircraft on the routes in the winter and A330 during the summer. The new codeshare started yesterday.
Portugalia's UK based general manager Paulo Henriques says that the airline hopes to increase this service to three times weekly from April.
Portugalia offers domestic flights and serves Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Casablanca.
