To All my "Fellow Colleagues":

Information I learned while at In-Charge/Purser meeting on Feb.8th. Real proof of "your" Union leaders selling out everyone.

Hopefully this will satisfy even those very experienced (5 years and less) members of the "Old Air Canada" which seem to be the loudest and are the most obnoxious members of our "New Happy Family".

It would appear that not only has "your" union representatives screwed us former Canadian employees over, but they have sold you out as well with the signing of that "purchase an "Old Air Canada" employee" contract. (They giveth with one hand and taketh with the other.) It appears we are being asked to give up $650 million dollars in wage concessions. (Isn’t that the amount borrowed to buy Air Canada shares back from Onex) It seems we are all in for a pay decrease to keep everything afloat. WOW, who would have guessed a bidding war for the "Old Air Canada" at fifteen dollars a share, would end up with you all praising Onex now for coming to save us. When Onex came to save Canadian, "it" was a very "evil force". Remember walking around the terminals with that pin saying "Just say no to Onex" and that clove of garlic around your necks. Well the only thing that was accomplished was the dinosaur known as the "Old Air Canada" was allowed to live a very expensive three more years. If Onex had been able to purchase both of our airlines and modernized them, maybe Westjet would be a regional carrier. Fasten your seat belts, reality is about to take off and don’t worry what size aircraft we are flying, some representatives of "your" union are getting paid at the 747 scale regardless. Wake-up, the coffee is brewing can you smell it?
