Take an apartment in buckhead/lindbergh/midtown area. Good transportation available to the airport and everywhere else.
A number of airline staff live in Peachtree City but it's so far away from Atlanta (35 miles). Unless you are a homebody and like to stay at home, in which case PTC is great (you can go everywhere in a golf cart!).
Apartments are not renting out so well right now so almost everybody is offering specials.

I have two rooms for rent in Atlanta, about 15 minutes from the airport. My house is new construction in a gated community. Each room has a private bathroom. Are you still looking for a place?
